Mae dod o hyd i dechnoleg gan FYS yn gais llwyddiannus mewn amrywiaeth eang o wahanol sectorau diwydiannol ledled y byd. Mae technoleg FYS yn darparu mewnosodiad edefyn hunan-dapio gydag edau allanol a mewnol, torri slotiau neu dorri brychau. Mae proses barhaus o ddatblygu pellach wedi arwain at nifer o welliannau mawr i nodweddion cynnyrch.
Argymhellir mewnosod hunan-tapio 302 (gyda slot torri) ar gyfer y rhan fwyaf o achosion ymgeisio. Mewn rhai deunyddiau, mae'r mewnosodiad hwn yn dangos cyn lleied o weithredu â phosibl yn y gwanwyn, gan greu effaith cloi sgriwiau penodol. Os nad oes angen yr effaith hon, argymhellwn ddefnyddio Hunan-tapio mewnosod 307/308.
Datblygwyd mewnosod hunan-dapio 307/308 (gyda thoriadau torri) ar gyfer deunyddiau gyda nodweddion torri anodd. Mae gan y mewnosodiad hwn wal drwchus ac mae'r grym torri wedi'i ddosbarthu dros dair ymyl torri.
